César Gómez-Martín

César Gómez-Martín received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees in computer science, and a master degree in grid computing and parallelism from the University of Extremadura, Spain. He has over 12 years experience in both private and public sectors. He is currently working as a HPC engineer in Ontropos, Inc. (San Francisco, California, USA) and, in addition he is since 2008 an assistant professor in the Department of Computer and Communications Technologies at the University of Extremadura. In the past he has worked as gnuLinex systems architect for Junta de Extremadura, and as a supercomputing team manager in the Supercomputing Center of Extremadura. His main research interests include parallel computing, evolutionary computation and container-based HPC.
