Hector Cruz Enriquez
Dr Hector Cruz Enriquez is the head of the ICT Department of the Universidad Central "Martha Abreu" Las Villas or UCLV, one of the three main universities in Cuba. He is the coordinator on the Cuban side of the ICT-Network between the Flemish Universities and five Cuban universities. As part of the collaboration with the Flemish universities, he was responsible for the implementation of one of the biggest datacenters in Cuba. He is one of the founders of the HPC Cuba project that aims to make supercomputing available to all Cuban researchers.
