Leon Anavi is a software engineer and open source enthusiast. He is active contributor to Automotive Grade Linux (AGL), GENIVI Development Platform (GDP) and the Tizen project. Leon has more than 10 years of professional experience in embedded, web and mobile application development.

Leon Anavi is an open source enthusiast and a senior software engineer at Konsulko Group. He is a co-maintainer of Tizen on Yocto and an active contributor to Automotive Grade Linux, GENIVI Development Platform as well as to a lot of other open source projects. His professional experience includes embedded, web and mobile application development. In October 2016 Leon received the award of GENIVI most valuable contributor. His spare time activities include a hobby project for an open source hardware Raspberry Pi HAT for IoT powered by free and open source software. Leon holds a masters in Information Technology from the Technical University Sofia. He is also the author of the Tizen Cookbook printed by Packt Publishing. His previous speaking experience includes talks about open source software during events in San Francisco, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Brussels, Bratislava, Sofia and his hometown Plovdiv.
