Bob Dröge

Bob Dröge has been working as a High Performance Computing (HPC) specialist at the Center for Information Technology of the University of Groningen in The Netherlands since 2011. He graduated from that same university, with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a bachelor's and master's degree in Computer Science.

He is passionate about solving complex issues/puzzles and helping out other people, which come in useful in his role to provide user support and training to the users of the university's HPC systems. Besides this, he is currently involved in some large projects like ESA's Euclid mission and the open-source EESSI project.

Some of his hobbies include soccer, travelling, and playing games like chess and poker.
