Alexander Krizhanovsky
I'm the architect of Tempesta FW, an open-source hybrid of a web proxy and firewall. Thanks to its unique architecture, the product demonstrates much higher performance than traditional web proxies and provides more security features out of the box. I'm also responsible for the design and performance of several products in the areas of network traffic processing and databases. I designed the core architecture and led development of a Web application firewall, mentioned in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, as well as the MariaDB temporal data tables and ultra scalable S3 and NFS servers.
I have gaven talks, mostly covering technologies and algorithms employed by Tempesta FW, at CppCon'22, Netdev, SCALE, Linux Conf Australia, MariaDB user conferences, All Things Open, FOSDEM, SeaGL, Percona Live, IBM CASCON, and many other conferences. I'm also the author of a very fast lock-free MPMC ring buffer queue, published by the Linux Journal.
