I am a Staff Site Reliability Engineer at the Wikimedia Foundation, working as part of the Data Platform Engineering team.
This means that I get to look after a lot of Hadoop, Kubernetes, Ceph, Presto, MariaDB and other fun stuff. It also means that all of my work is in the open, which brings extra privilege and responsibility of its own.
Outside of work, I am a unicycle hockey enthusiast and a cat whisperer.
