Daniel Temkin
Daniel Temkin is a programmer and artist. His award-winning blog esoteric.codes (2011-2021) documented the history of esolangs, bringing together the work of hackers, hobbyists, and artists who challenge conventional notions of computing. It was the 2014 recipient of the ArtsWriters.org grant, developed in residence at the New Museum's NEW INC incubator, and exhibited at ZKM in 2018-19. His writing on code art and esolangs have been published in Hyperallergic, Leonardo, Outland, World Picture Journal, and presented at SXSW, SIGGRAPH, Media Art Histories, Gulaschprogrammiernacht, and many other conferences.
