Daniele Lacamera is a software engineer, working at wolfSSL since 2018.

Daniele has a strong background in Linux kernel development, including accepted contributions to the kernel. His academic research has focused on transport layer protocols, performance-enhancing proxies (PEPs), and the optimization of TCP/IP communications, with over 20 academic publications in these areas. He later transitioned to embedded systems engineering, authoring like picoTCP and frosted OS, and nowadays he is one of the maintainers of wolfBoot.

He is the author of Embedded Systems Architecture (Packt), which provides practical insights into designing, securing, and optimizing software for embedded devices.
