Edgar Riba
Dr, Edgar Riba is a Computer Vision researcher that holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB). His research interests lie in the intersection of classical computer vision and deep learning for low level perception tasks applications in the Robotics fields.
Enthusiastic about the free and open-source software culture, he became an active contributor and later a member of the OpenCV foundation where he started the Kornia project under the supervision of Gary Bradski. Currently, he is the project lead and principal core maintainer of the Kornia project leading all lthe Rust efforts.
