Filip Kastl
Hi! I'm based in Prague, Czech Republic where I am working part-time as a GCC developer at SUSE. I'm also a master's student of Charles University. It's only been about two years since I started working on GCC so I'm still pretty much a GCC beginner.
Some of my contributions to GCC:
-
SCCOPY -- An optimization pass that cleans up some redundant PHI functions from GIMPLE SSA representation.
-
Switch exponential transformation -- Better handling of switch statements whose cases are powers of two. On this FOSDEM I plan to talk about this transformation.
You can reach me through filip.kastl@suse.com. On the #gcc OFTC irc channel, you can sometimes see me chatting under the nick "pheeck".
