Jan-Patrick Lehr

Jan-Patrick, or JP, Lehr is a Software Development Engineer at AMD, working on the ROCm compiler.

He studied computer science and received both his bachelor’s and his master’s degree from the Technical University of Darmstadt. He joined the institute for Scientific Computing at Technical University Darmstadt as a PhD student and received his PhD in 2021 for his work on automatic performance-profiling refinement and mini-app extraction.

Besides his activities around MetaCG and PIRA, he also initiated MPI-CorrBench and contributed to the TypeART project. These projects can be found at https://github.com/tudasc.
