Kelvin Nilsen
Kelvin Nilsen authored the original proposal for Real-Time Java in 1995 and went on to found the first company to support real-time execution of Java, NewMonics, in 1996. He has worked continuously on improving the timeliness of Java for 30 years. Most recently, he is employed as a Principal Software Engineer on Amazon's Corretto team, where he leads the development of Generational Shenandoah.
