Mark Overmeer
Mark started to program in 1978, and hasn't stopped since. As self-employed programmer, he tries to find a balance between working innovative own ideas and paid projects. Mark is also active in various Open Source organizations.
Besides many published modules (mainly in Perl, see github "markov2") he also programmed for the Dutch National Aerospace Laboratories and the Dutch National Cyber Security Center... and at least a hundred projects more. The largest projects relate to email automation, XML processing, satellite image archiving, and search engine infrastructure.
