I started the relevant part of my IT career as a working student at Digital Equipment Corporation. When things went downhill at DEC, I became a freelancer and haven't had any motivation to change that status ever since.
Since then, I've been working for a number of small, medium-sized and large companies, helping them to build and maintain IT solutions and integrate infrastructure management components so they are more useful and less annoying.
