Shankar has been part of development teams at Oracle RAC Database, Amazon Aurora MySQL, Google Cloud MySQL. Shankar's recent work at Google includes enhancing MySQL performance / availability and designing & implementing vector support in Google Cloud MySQL (the first MySQL service to announce vector support). Shankar also contributes to Clickhouse analytical database.
