Thomas Röblitz
Thomas Röblitz is a senior engineer at University of Bergen. He's passionate about helping researchers to use HPC systems in Norway and Europe. Since 2020 he contributes to the EESSI project which develops and operates a streaming service for installations of scientific software. Before switching roles from doing research himself to helping researchers he developed ideas to improve the ways researchers manage their data across the systems they use for analysing or generating data. When he recently took over responsibility for research data services at his working place, his earlier interest in this field got revived and he found that EESSI provides a good basis to implement these ideas.
