Tobias Augspurger
Tobias Augspurger is an aerospace engineer who has just finished his PhD in atmospheric sciences. He is the founder of the Open Sustainable Technology community, which supports and explores the open source ecosystem in the areas of environmental protection, conservation, natural resources and climate technology. For the past 12 years, he has loved to innovate based on open source practices in different disciplines such as remote sensing and robotics. He now leads a group at Open Energy Transition to extend and harmonise the power grid data in OpenStreetMap to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy worldwide.
