Viktória Spišaková
I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University (MU) and an IT architect at centre the CERIT-SC at MU. My research interests include optimizing resource utilization for containerized (HPC) workloads with advanced scheduling and orchestration. My research happens in the large-scale, multi-tenant, free-of-charge, academic, Kubernetes-based e-infrastructure where my aim is the adaptation of containers for wide variety of use-cases, including traditional HPC workloads. The work aims to address not only a range of technical challenges, from scalability and performance to resource management but also human aspect challenges — educating people to embrace modern technologies and helping them move beyond relying on traditional systems simply because those are familiar.
