Garrett Woodworth has been project manager for CakePHP since Sept 2005. He has witnessed its rise in popularity and spearheaded the creation of resources for the CakePHP community. He believes community is more important than individual honors, while living a mostly aesthetic life dedicated to CakePHP and volunteering as a coach for the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Sailing Team. He holds a JD/MBA from Fordham University and has been programming PHP based applications since 1999. Garrett acts as president of the Cake Software Foundation, and is a principal at the Cake Development Corporation.
