This talk introduces configuration smells, their types with various examples, tools to detect them, and suggestions to refactor them.

We can leverage traditional software engineering knowledge and best practices to develop and maintain high quality configuration code. This talk brings the smell metaphor to configuration domain. This talk introduces configuration smells, their types with various examples, tools to detect them, and suggestions to refactor them.
