Saranjit Arora
Saranjit is a Senior Consultant/Project Manager at the European Commission’s open source programme office (EC OSPO). From 2018-2021 he managed the EU-FOSSA 2 Project which helped create the Commission's first open source inventory, identified critical software, and ran bug bounties and hackathons to find and fix security vulnerabilities. Since 2022 he has focused on the FOSSEPS programme, whose aim is to help European Public Services cooperate on open source issues and opportunities, and to reuse already built software solutions. These solutions are made by and for public administrations and can be seen via a new soon to be launched EU Open Source Solutions Catalogue. Saranjit has also helped organise several Commission open source events.
