Forrest Burt is a solutions architect at CIQ, where he specializes in HPC application workflows, exotic/emerging HPC use cases, and innovations in HPC container orchestration. He graduated in 2021 from Boise State University with a B.S. in computer science, where he also worked on the Boise State Research Computing team as the student HPC system administrator on the R1, R2 and Borah compute clusters, frequently in collaboration with the Idaho National Lab. His interests in the free and open-source software sphere include AI frameworks, containerization platforms, scientific software packages, and wireless communication.
