SURF is the IT cooperative of education and research in the Netherlands. SURF Research Cloud is one of SURF's services. Since 2020, we provide thousands of Researchers from all Dutch Institutes with powerful, easy to use infrastructure and tools. SURF Research Cloud is a portal that can serve resources from a variety of cloud providers. Our main cloud provider is our own private data center, running OpenStack. We have also provided resources of other European OpenStack clusters (Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden) and commercial clouds like AWS, Azure and Oracle. Our software will go Open Source.
