Jean-Michel Friedt is associate professor at the University of Franche-Comté in Besançon, France with his research activity hosted by the Time & Frequency department of the FEMTO-ST institute. His interests include the use of digital electronics in stable time and frequency signal generation and dissemination, including Global Navigation Satellite Signals. He is the co-author of the textbook "Communications Systems Engineering with GNU Radio"
